Setting Goals to lose weight

This is a short extract from ‘Weight Loss in Mind’ by Janet Thomson:

It is important to make sure that the goal you set fits in with your Beliefs and your Values. In this section of the book you will work out what is important to you, what you believe you CAN do, not what you believe you cannot do. As a result you will be able to set goals that make you feel not just quite good, but absolutely fantastic! Forget any previous goals you may have had, they probably weren’t inspirational enough or important enough to you anyway, that’s why you haven’t achieved them yet. The goals you set for yourself from now on will absolutely change your life – so get exited!
